Ceremonial completion of the project in the Czech Republic - "Water protection in the river Dyje – Phase II"
On November 14th, 2013 on the occasion of completion of the project “Water protection in the river Dyje – Phase II", a formal event was held in the castle Boskovice, attended by representatives of the investor, construction supervision, contractors of particular subprojects and representatives of the designer. Presented was a comprehensive project, funded under the Operational Program of Environment of the Czech Republic, the State Environmental Fund of the Czech Republic and Svaz VKMO s.r.o., Brno. Project has been proposed in order to reduce the pollution of surface and waste water in region Vysočina and also in the South Moravian Region. Construction and reconstruction of basic infrastructure (sewage treatment, primary sewage networks) for the collection and treatment of waste water was carried out in order to meet European Union requirements.
The project consisted of a total of five subprojects:
1.Subproject A - construction manager (GEOtest a.s., AP INVESTING,s.r.o.)
2.Subproject B - region Blanensko (SKANSKA a.s., Dopravní stavby Brno, s.r.o.)
3.Subproject C - region Jihlavsko (OUTULNÝ GROUP s.r.o., Vodohospodárske stavby Javorník-Cz s.r.o.)
4.Subproject D - region Třebíčsko (D.I.S., spol. s r.o., PKS INPOS a.s.)
5.Subproject E - region Žďársko (UNISTAV a.s., Chemkostav, a.s.)
Company Chemkostav, a.s. participated in the implementation of the subproject E - region Žďársko, which included the construction of:
1. Nové město Moravě - sewage drains connecting to a single drainage system of Nové město Moravě were built.
2. Maršovice, Pohledec - construction of sewerage system in the whole city of Maršovice and its connection to sewer of Nové město Moravě. In the part of the town Pohledec the systematic integrated sewerage network was carried out to remove wastewater from the district.
3. Nová Ves – there was built the systematic sanitary sewage network to wastewater from the village to the WWTP in Nové město Moravě.
4. Velké Meziřičí – the subject of construction was the reconstruction and intensification of wastewater treatment plants. The project also included the amendment of the existing sewerage network, and construction of the sewage system.
5. Mostiště – there were built the sanitary drains connecting to a single sewer system of Velké Meziřičí.
6. Oslavice - construction of systematic sanitary sewage network, which is connected to a sewage treatment plant of Velké Meziřičí.
In total, within the subproject E - region Žďársko was implemented about 20 km of sewer pipes, 10 pumping stations, including the discharge pipe and refurbished wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 16,476 PE. By implementation of the project the improvement in water quality in the catchment Waterworks Nové Mlýny has been achieved.
