On June 02, 2025, we took over the construction site for the "Chminianske Jakubovany Elementary School" project. Construction work is scheduled to be completed by the end of November 2026.
The project deals with the design of a primary school in the village of Chminianske Jakubovany. The building will be divided into pavilions, which will be connected by a connecting corridor. The pavilions will be partially recessed into the terrain. Pavilion I. will have a longitudinal character with peripheral load-bearing and internal walls. It has a total of three floors, one of which is partially recessed. Pavilion I. will serve first-grade primary school students. A total of 21 classrooms are designed. Pavilion II. will also have a longitudinal character with peripheral load-bearing and internal walls. It has a total of three floors, one of which is partially recessed. Pavilion II. will serve second-grade primary school students. A total of 15 classrooms are designed (3 small classrooms, 9 classrooms and 3 vocational classrooms). Pavilion III. has a rectangular floor plan with perimeter load-bearing and internal load-bearing columns. It has a total of two floors, one of which is partially recessed. Pavilion III. will house locker rooms for students, school teachers' facilities, technical areas, a dining room and a kitchen with technical, operational and sanitary areas. The roofs of the pavilions will be sloping, gabled. The individual pavilions will be connected by a connecting corridor. The connecting corridor is a single-storey building with a flat roof. The floors in the individual pavilions are connected by staircases. An elevator is designed for the main staircases. Fire escape staircases are also designed in Pavilions I. and II. In front of the building, a new paved area is designed, from which the main entrance to the building is designed.
