Extension of the CT examination room, operating theater and kitchen with dining room to the surgical pavilion of the AGEL Zvolen Hospital

In AGEL Zvolen Hospital a.s. we continue with the implementation of other works related to the implementation of the extension of the CT examination room, the operating room and the kitchen with the dining room to the surgical pavilion. Work began in August 2025 and is scheduled to be completed by the end of May 2026.

The extension on the 1st floor of the surgical pavilion solves the construction of a new CT examination room with facilities for the current examination room, which will speed up the CT examination of patients. From the existing waiting room for CT examinations, the patient will reach the new CT examination room through the new cabins and the preparation room.

The extension on the level of the 2nd floor of the surgical pavilion solves the construction of a new operating room with a background for the current operating tract. From the existing vestibule in front of the operating tract, a new filter for personnel divided for men and women and a cleaning room will be created. A new corridor in the extension will be connected from the vestibule, where there will be a post-surgery recovery room, a preparation room and an operating theater with a corresponding hand washroom and sterile material storage.

In connection with the staircase from the 1st floor, a new canteen for staff and a new kitchen with the capacity to prepare complete meals for patients and hospital staff will be created in the next part on the 2nd floor.
