CHP Ubľa – expansion and modernization of the workplace

Basic information

Due to all the new current needs of the customs administration and the police for handling passengers when crossing the Schengen border, workplaces are being expanded in existing premises and missing premises are being added to existing facilities. At the entrance to the Slovak Republic, a separate object of a new hygiene facility for passengers will be built. The space for document verification will be increased in the main building. In the premises of the check-in hall, the baggage check-in table is divided by a dividing glass. As part of the building modifications, a new space will be added, which will ensure the performance of the customs administration service. The retaining wall will be extended by approximately 7.5 m in order to create space for the construction of a new passenger hygiene facility at the entrance to the UA. Public hygiene facilities for passengers will be provided in the newly built building. In the reserved space, there will be a new parking area for the emergency service car of the police and a space for the installation of a glass box of the customs office for checking passengers' luggage. In the area where the sanitary facilities used to be, the reconstruction will create a new workplace for checking police documents.
