Creation of new aftercare beds in AGEL Hospital Košice-Šaca a.s. - Kechnec

Basic information

The existing facility was built and is currently used as a facility for seniors in the village of Kechnec. It consists of 1 underground floor, where the operational facilities are located, i.e.: technical rooms, warehouses, X-ray, morgue, kitchen facilities and 5 above-ground floors, where the first floor houses office space for the management of the facility for seniors, a kitchen and the FRO department. The other above-ground floors house rooms for residents of the home for seniors, a gym, a dining room and a chapel. The investment plan consists of the reconstruction of the inpatient department within the existing facility for seniors on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th above-ground floors, or rather in interior renovations. The reconstruction works represent interior works such as layout changes within the designed floors, new surface finishes (floors, walls, ceilings), new distribution systems (ZTI, UK, ELI, VZT, MPL). The construction modifications to the existing building will increase the spatial and operational capacities of the AGEL Košice-Šaca a.s. hospital with the creation of new follow-up care beds. On the 2nd floor there are 16 double rooms, each with a separate sanitary cell, facilities for the inpatient section with linen and medicine storage, cleaning and sanitation room, staff day room, examination room, room for the doctor on duty, office of the department manager, staff toilet, cleaning room and gym. On the 3rd floor there is the same layout as on the previous floor. On the 4th floor there are 17 double rooms, each with a separate sanitary cell, facilities for the inpatient section with linen and medicine storage, a cleaning and sanitation room, a staff day room, an examination room, a room for the doctor on duty, a staff toilet and a cleaning room. All design solutions and measures are based on the design requirements and the investor's requirements.
