Veľaty – Sewage and WWTP

Basic information

The designed WWTP is located northeast of the village of Veľaty in its extravillage. It is a closed building in a fenced WWTP area. The building is rectangular in shape with a ground plan dimensions of 16.7×6.1m with a gable roof at a slope of 24 o . The building serves to accommodate and protect technological equipment, as well as to treat wastewater. The underground part of the building is made of water-resistant reinforced concrete, the above-ground part is brick and ends with a gable roof. The underground part is divided into activation tanks, settling tanks, sludge pumping stations and a sludge pit. The above-ground part of the WWTP includes a blasting room, a switchboard room and a toilet with a washbasin. The entrances to the building are from the adjacent intra-area communication designed within the SO 04 building. The lighting of the interior spaces is provided by plastic opening windows with insulating double glazing as well as artificial lighting.
